Our chocolate kitchen is located in the sunny beachside town of San Juan del Sur inside of El Pacifico Hotel. Oro Chocolate is a proud partner of the Casa Oro Group, a collection of for purpose businesses in pursuit of regeneration.

The Casa Oro Group was born from our understanding that sustainability is not enough.
We wonder: what if there was a place that grew organic food, built structures from recycled/natural materials and had activities that connected with local communities? A place serving travelers, not tourists. What if we created an entire ecosystem aimed at regenerating our planet? Regenerating not only Mother Nature, but communities, economies and, most importantly, the human spirit.
This is the oldest hostel and surf shop in San Juan with a regenerated spirit right in the middle of town and 1 block from the beach. You can feel the pulse of San Juan del Sur here and find everything you need including: shuttles, surf shop, restaurant/cafe/bar, tours and only the best vibes.

The house features a spacious common sitting area and an open communal kitchen, fully equipped, the best view of town from the house lookout of SJDS Bay “Terrace of Angels”, pool, A/C, free wifi and free filtered water.

An 80-acre experimentation in living the fullest expression of regeneration possible. The land began raw and continues to be tinkered with every day. To date, we have a recycling and composting center, fallen trees preservation, 5 acre startup farm that supplies our restaurant and a composting toilet. Mostly, we like going here to get lost.
A fine chocolate making company hand crafting micro-batches of award-winning heirloom cacao harvested and processed in the country of origin, all 21 steps from bean to bar, all in Nicaragua. We work directly with small scale farmers using organic practices and exclusively use the highest quality local ingredients. The paradisical oceanside location adds an element of fluidity to the chocolate.
