Drinking chocolate, made from our chocolate.

It isn't a powder. We grind our own solid chocolate into granules, so there's no block to chop. Whisk a few spoonfuls into hot milk or water.

Four kinds. Single Origin, Aphrodisiac and Golden Milk Chai, $28. Ceremonial, $30: 100% cacao, nothing added.

More than a thousand farming families grow the cacao. It's fermented and dried in Tipitapa, made into chocolate at our factory in San Juan del Sur, and finished at the front window of our shop in Wicker Park.

The coffee comes from people we know by name.

El Palacio has been the Chaves family's farm in Jinotega since 1894. Some of what we pour has come from our own farm at Los Nogales, and more of it will. We roast in the back of the shop.
