Junior Olivas, a civil engineering professional, fulfilled his dream of becoming a farmer when he joined Finca la Peña in 2019. His friend Will Pattison invited him to manage the coffee production, and together they embarked on a journey to make the farm economically sustainable. Junior's contagious enthusiasm and expertise led to improvements in production and quality and now, they are preparing for their first-ever exportation to the United States. Oro Coffee introduced them to two processes of making coffee, honey and natural. These methods helped enhance the taste and flavor of their specialty variety, Marseillesa, resulting in a perfectly balanced cup with hints of fruit and nuts
